For four years now, it has been the mutual wish of the Forestry Commission and us to establish a photo hide on the Sallandse Heuvelrug and see there; our photo hut in the National Park!
At the foot of the National Park Sallandse Heuvelrug we have built a very beautiful and luxurious photo cabin in cooperation with Staatsbosbeheer Supported by years of experience, we have again chosen a place where various biotopes are close by. The hide is located in a wooded area with both old trees and young storage and wedged between meadows and heathland. A large part of the heather has just been cleared of trees, so we’re going to experience what the area, especially known from the Black grouse, has to offer us. By the way, we don’t expect this rare species at the hut.
In addition to the common forest birds, we expect species such as Tree pipit, Hawfinch, sparrow hawk, Red crossbill, buzzard, green woodpecker, black woodpecker, yellowhammer, Bullfinch, Red squirrels, etc. At this hide you can expect birds between 2 and 6 meters from your lens but of course also in the surroundings around the hide.
The Hide is equipped with our Hi-tec mone-way glass so you are much more likely to get more and the shyer birds in front of your lens.
By renting this beautiful photo hide you will not only have a nice day but also the good feeling that you support the work from the Rangers on the Sallandse Heuvelrug.
Rental:
The rental of this Hide is divided into two periods.
Season 1:
1 April – 31 October
€ 95, –
Season 2:
1 November – 31 March
€ 75,-
Bookings in 2020 are possible but always subject to possible price changes. There will be a message about this at the end of 2019.
This rental price is per day and for the entire hide, regardless of the number of photographers. You can make use of it with a maximum of three photographers. We do not work with half-days so you have this hide the whole day for your own. We are not going to put people from our side together in the hide. So you go with the people you want to go with.
Slider system
You can also use the HBN slider system in HBN-8 with the beautiful Sirui PH-30 Gimbal heads thanks to a partnership with TSE imaging.
