Corona Update
Dear photographers,
Because of the Corona crisis, we also have to take our measures, so this mailing. I would like to emphasize that we also want to work carefully and that the safety of our visitors is of paramount importance. Nevertheless, we want to keep the Hides open for as long as possible, especially during this beautiful spring period; It is precisely at this time that many are looking for an enormous urge for Nature and relaxation, but it is also fair to say that cancellations over a longer period of time can mean the bankruptcy of our small company. In addition to a personal drama, that would also mean that the great opportunity to visit our Hides would also end after this crisis.
That is why we want to give you the opportunity to plan a new day (eventually later) or just come but with the following requests and principles.
The Hides are now equipped with disinfectant spray and paper tissues and the towels have been removed.
You may view your booking already made, please eventually postpone it to a later date.
We ask you not to come with more than 2 people or even better alone. On March 23, the political government in Holland announced that no more than two people are aloud stay in one room, otherwise like home and you have to be able to keep a distance from at last 1.5 meter from each other. Also a maximum of 2 photographers and in Hide 6 and 9 a maximum of 1 photographer!
Do you have a (even the least) cold or are you not well? do not go for the sake of others and stay home!
Do you belong to the known risk category; stay at home!
Take your own disinfection measures as soon as you enter and leave the cabin; see that as a piece of social behaviour towards others.
The last week we have been busy answering questions and cancelling requests, and luckily we almost always meet very cooperative people. As a result, many places have become vacant, which are often quickly filled by others who usually only visit the Hides. This is fine as long as possible, but keep the above in mind!!
Since we cannot refund payments, we naturally do not make it a problem to move on to a date that is usually determined later.
People who booked a long time ago and have to move now have priority over scheduling a new appointment over people who book during the corona crisis.
A final request is to only append, email or call us if it is really necessary as we want to handle the deluge of messages as well as possible. The amount of messages is sometimes simply too large.
I hope that we can overcome this crisis soon and that we will meet in good health later. Try this time to enjoy nature but slow yourself down by not forgetting reality.
Regards,
Han Bouwmeester, the cooperating organizations and the HBN team.
