The Han Bouwmeester, or HBN, products are designed and
produced by the fulltime professional Nature Photographer Han Bouwmeester from
The Netherlands. They are developed because of his dissatisfaction with the
current available products. He wanted to produce and sell products with a
higher quality and a fair price. They also had to be eco-friendly so the choice
of a production location and country depended on the fact it regards animal and
human rights. Shortly after the production of the first series it became clear
they were successful; more and more photographers ordered them. Now they are
well known worldwide.
The products are made by a confection company which
participates in projects for disabled people giving them a chance at finding a
permanent job. Part of the profits is donated to organizations dedicated to
nature, wildlife and animal-protection. By buying one of the products you'll
raise your photography skills to a higher level and participate in creating a
better world.
